Students were selected by first promoting the project in schools and inviting applications.
The most motivated applicants were shortlisted for group interviews. During the interviews, conducted in English, each student introduced themselves to the group and explained their motivation for applying. Following this, students presented a PowerPoint on a topic related to the workshop.
The final five students were chosen based on motivation, language skills, and teamwork abilities.
Students studied learning materials created by business experts on eCampus. They completed assignments independently with support from their local teachers. Two online meetings were held with the international group: the first for introductions and team bonding, and the second for guidance from business experts to kickstart the project.
Each country was responsible for recruiting companies before the workshops. Recruitment was done through school partnerships and local business communities. Companies were chosen based on the potential for students to genuinely assist them.
Groups were formed with one student from each country, ensuring complementary skills and personalities.
Before arriving, each group researched their assigned company and social media channels, with guidance from business experts.
During the project week, students visited companies to refine their social media marketing needs and implemented agreed plans, such as launching Instagram or TikTok channels or updating websites.
At the end of the week, students presented their plans to the companies in a seminar, receiving feedback from both the companies and business experts.
After each week, students completed an online survey on eCampus. Surveys and roundtable discussions were held to gather information on the workshop week and to improve the contents for the following workshops.
